18 degrees

As I bask in the sunlight, tanning myself this past weekend, I soaked up every second of warmth. I knew my home would be chilly and precipitation was possible. My trusty Amiga departed the desert valley at sundown & minimal sunlight was left. The clouds were already forming overhead & I knew that meant real weather had moved into my mountain community, some 300 miles away.

A hot satisfying dinner awaited at Olancha's Ranch House Cafe, where I aired up my tires back to 30 psi. Fellow campers exchanged stories of fuel shortages & helpful strangers. Across the Mojave desert & up the hill I drove, arriving home late in the night. As the first snows of the season landed on my patio, I wonderd if the winds were bad in the desert that I called my home.

healed

Saline was as magical as ever. My 3rd time was a charm. The unusual Thanksgiving was spent at a potluck picnic, on a green grassy lawn, under the russling palms, quite far from any electricity or paved road.

I ventured solo into the desert to soak my soul & feel the warmth of the loving sun. The remote destination was crowded with only the coolest campers in Death Valley.

my 3rd Taurus

The boy Taurians are strangely attracted to me, DanaMite, the wild Aquarian girl. What certain characteristics peak their interest in me, inevitably these differences pull us apart. I initially dig them for their strong nature & 'geek factor' - but all fails in the end. Esp. in the bedroom, or perhaps the clothing optional hot springs.

Taurus & Aquarius Attractions

This is an unusual combination and the association isn’t likely to last long. Taurus is fixed earth and Aquarius is fixed air. The two signs form a natural square between them, signaling challenges and conflict. Aquarius tends to be very social, easy going and willing to try everything at least once. Taurus, on the other hand, are very sentimental and form emotional attachments to things, feelings and people. Read: they do not like change and usually hate trying anything new. Unless this couple has very compatible moon signs and other factors in their charts together, the combination is very unlikely to last long.

For All The Wrong Reasons

Well I wanted you
I wanted no one else
I thought it through
I got you to myself
You got off
Every time you got on to me
I got caught up
In favorable slavery

Was it wrong? Was it wrong?

I guess it wasn't really right
I guess it wasn't meant to be
It didn't matter what they said
'Cause we were good in bed
I guess I stuck around so I could watch us fight
for all the wrong reasons
No, it didn't matter what I tried
It's just a little hard to leave
When you're going down on me
I guess I stuck around so I could watch us fight
for all the wrong reasons

Well you know my friends
Well they know your enemies
I'd pretend
Not to hear what they said to me
'Cause I got off
Every time you got on to me
Was it wrong
To go along with insanity?

Was it wrong? Was it wrong?

I guess it wasn't what I wanted
Wasn't really what I thought
Thought it was the day I got
I want it all to go away

H2o Hottie, Where are you?

You Should Be With a Water Sign!

Your best match is a Cancer, Scorpio, or Pisces

Why? You crave intimacy and connection in your relationship
And while most guys can't open up enough for you, a Water Sign can
Not that you're whole relationship will be soul gazing
A Water Sign matches your goofy sense of humor - and desire to help others.

dream of you

i've been here all the time
as far as i know doing right

i've always waited for the moment
that you would come through my door
but this brought loneliness so far

i lay my hand onto my heart
is this the life i want to live?
is this the dream i had of you?

the dream i had of you

now i'm standing here alone
waiting on my own
for something that will fill the emptiness
inside the moment that you mind

but this is loneliness i know
i lay my hand onto my soul
is this what life has got to give?
is this the dream i had of you?

the dream i had of you..

complaint box

Isn't it odd....how so many empty souls complain about their lives constantly? Listening to them makes me laugh out loud. Everyday, it seems to be a new drama in their world. Maybe they learn it from the Tell-A-Vision? A bitter outlook, on just about everything -- from the neighbors, to politics, to religion, to minorities, to rich folks, their old cars, their current situation, location, home, or their work (or lack there of).

When these kinda freaks enter my life (which luckily is few & far between), I tend to shut them down right away. Tell them to stop their whining & do something about their pathetic existence. Why spend time with these morons, who couldn't pull themsleves outta a trench even if they wanted to? Don't waste my time & I won't waste yours.

My solution: Go outside more, visit nature & appreciate the world you live in. When indoors, make the most of your time by working on stuff you enjoy, reading, expanding your body & mind, or entertaining with good friends.

And remember, EVERYTHING in moderation, even complaints.

Do what you must

There is an idea running through your head that is asking you to slow down and take things once step at a time. The internal dialogue could drive you crazy if you are not careful. The most important thing for you to do at this time is to simply follow your heart. Do what you love to do.

All Hallows Eve

Another very memorable Halloween. Thanks to Lynn for jack-o-lanterns, Mike for the pink party cake, Ren for the batteries, Erik for bringing Kristin, and to Will for the spare digital camera. And most of all to Crissy & Steve for showing up before 6pm, to get the Tuesday night party started early.
